At the Beach with Janie and Jack
Thanks to Janie and Jack for sponsoring this post! I grew up in Pennsylvania and every summer we would take our annual trip to the Jersey shore. My grandparents had a small beach house in Stone Harbor a few blocks from the beach and I was always so excited for ice cream, the ocean, time with cousins and everything else that came with beach vacations. The beach house only had a few bedrooms so all the cousins would sleep up in the attack. They lined the walls of the attic with rows of beds and we would always get in trouble for jumping from one bed to another. I have such fond memories of the beach so when we moved to Connecticut and I found out we had a beach 10 minutes from my house I was like a kid in a candy store! I love that Ayla gets to grow up with weekly trips to the ocean.
This day we decided to go treasure hunting for shells and pretty rocks. Ayla has been in a phase where she loves putting everything into bags and then taking them back out. This little bucket bag from Janie and Jack is just the sweetest little accessory and Ayla LOVED putting all her sea shells and beach finds in the bag to carry along with her. It’s no secret that we love Janie and Jack. The unique details and quality of material they use really set them apart from other children’s brands. Their outfits are perfect for summer family photo shoots, special occasions and just every day cuteness. I really can’t get over these pineapple shoes from their summer line. I think they are currently my favorite piece in her wardrobe. This particular line is actually a “mommy and me” collection but unfortunately the “mommy pieces” sold out of my size before I could snag one. There are still sizes available though so you should definitely check it out before they are all gone! I can only hope they do another mommy and me line soon. I will have to be faster next time in snagging something for myself! But lets be honest, when it comes to “who wears it better” I am pretty sure Ayla wins every time. I can’t compete with that level of cuteness. 😉
