Writing Our Own Princess Story With Disney Princess Royal Shimmer Fashion Dolls!

There are few stories that are more magical and enchanting then the stories of each Disney Princess. It’s so fun to watch my girls grow up to love Disney Princess characters like Aurora and Snow White as much as I did at their age. We watch all the movies over and over and my girls dream about being princesses themselves. I love the way that playing and using their imaginations can help transport them into their very own Disney Princess stories.
My girls were thrilled when we received this fun box of Disney Princess Royal Shimmer Fashion Dolls from Hasbro. Their sparkly line of dolls includes all of my girls’ favorites like Ariel, Rapunzel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora, Mulan, Tiana, Pocahontas and Merida. Every Disney Princess is so unique and shimmers from top to bottom! It’s so much fun to watch my girls play out scenes from the movies or reenact their very own fairytales with these princesses. Ayla loves to pretend that she and Snow White are looking for hurt little animals in the woods to bring back and nurture back to health with the help of the 7 dwarfs.
Encouraging kids to use their imaginations is a critical part of child development so anytime I can encourage my girls to create their own story, I do. Using props like the cute craft crown that Ayla was able to decorate from our box can really help them to get into character. Cozy had fun coloring in our Disney Princess journal and Ayla followed up by writing out a story about her and Coco as princess in a far off land. The story may have included a few “slimy stinky frogs” that they later kissed and turned into handsome princes that became their best friends. The crown and journal really were so cute and were special to this box (not part of the Hasbro line).
I love that the Disney Princess Royal Shimmer Fashion Dolls are each unique with their own story which in turn encourages my girls to love their own unique strengths and stories.
