Dresses with Boots and Feelings About Fall
It’s finally late enough in August to get away with wearing boots with dresses. I’ll be honest, I always struggle a little bit at the end of August. The air feels a bit crisper and I start to dream of all of the apple picking and hay rides that are right around the corner. The excitement is quickly erased by the thought of warm carefree summer mornings spent at the beach or the park with Ayla. Seasons are funny like that. There is always so much to look forward to and so much that is hard to let go of. Holding the excitement and disappointment in tension can make you feel a bit crazy but I am doing the best I can to just enjoy the moment I am in. So for now, I will lace up my booties, throw on my summer dress (which only costs $19 by the way!) and walk in the sunshine. Hope you are all enjoying your last few summer days and getting excited for the fall!
