The perfect romper for you next vacation
With all this cold weather, I have been feeling inspired to post from our recent trip to Hawaii. I cannot even tell you how incredibly restful it was to have a week alone with my husband after our first year of being parents. The first few days were the hardest being away from Ayla, but once I realized she was really doing ok without me it got easier. We stayed at a gorgeous resort on the Big Island and enjoyed sleeping in, laying by the pool and going snorkeling right off the beach. It was amazing to have some time to reconnect and process our first year with our baby girl and all the amazing (and sometimes exhausting and hard) change that it brought with it.
If your planning to do some traveling to escape the cold this winter, you really need to check out Alice McCall’s collection. She has some of the most gorgeous and unique rompers I have ever seen. They are so playful and yet really flattering. The romper I’m wearing in these photos was a special little splurge for our vacation and I can’t wait for summer to roll around so I can wear it again. I paired it with my favorite nude heels but I can’t say that I recommend wearing them on lava rock. Let’s just say it was no easy feat to walk around for this shoot. Luckily both my heels and I made it through unscathed. The romper is also currently on sale so it’s a great time to stock up for your warm weather adventures!
