The Best Gift For Peppa Pig Lovers!

I’ll be the first to admit that there is something really contagious about Peppa Pigs' little accent and big enthusiasm for turning an ordinary day into an adventure. Living with a daily sense of adventure has always been something I strive for and seek to instill in my kids, making Peppa Pig a perfect go-to in our home. Both of my girls love to watch Peppa but Cosette is especially into the show right now. For her birthday this year, I got her the ultimate adventure gift, full of all things Peppa Pig.

Cosette recently outgrew her tricycle and I wanted to get her a bigger bike with training wheels. When I saw the hot pink Peppa Pig bike from Walmart I knew it was going to be perfect for our adventures. I grabbed a matching helmet, little Peppa Pig boots, a stuffed Peppa Pig and the Peppa Pig Family Trip Book for the perfect birthday present ready for our daily adventures.

Cosette was beyond thrilled when she found the gift and we immediately took the bike to our local park to try it out along the gravel trail. Cosette stopped to pick flowers and collect rocks (one of her favorite activities). She loved finding that the Peppa Pig case on the front of her bike was perfect for carrying all her “nature finds.” She must have spent 30 minutes just finding the perfect pebbles for her little case.

The bike trail by our house leads to a playground with a pond that we love to try and catch frogs in. The little Peppa Pig rainboots were perfect for jumping in all the muddy puddles (as Peppa would say) and wading into the edge of the pond. Cosette loves to find the best critter-filled rocks to flip over so she can discover who might be living on the other side and her rainboots kept her feet nice and dry!

I think the cutest thing was that Cosette insisted on carrying her Peppa Pig stuffed animal all over the playground and would talk to her the whole time. She would let her know she didn’t need to be scared going down the slide or that she would keep her safe going high on the swing. We walked around the park hunting for mushrooms and every time we found one Cosette would tell her all about the mushroom and make sure that Peppa knew “not to put them in her mouth.” I loved seeing how having Peppa by her side brought her imagination to life in a whole new way.

Of course, we had to stop and pull up a tree stump for a quick storytime to read all about Peppa's adventures on her family trip. I really love to find gifts for my kids that engage their passions and spark their imaginations and adventurous spirits. This gift really did just that.
