Family Day at the Museum with Fleabg

Sundays are family days for us here in the Towart family. We are incredibly lucky that we live so close to a town with so much culture. After church last Sunday we headed to Yale Universities art gallery with Ayla. You wont seem my husband pop out from behind the camera (he's a bit camera shy) but I assure you he was with us! I was shocked by how engaged Ayla was! She wanted to look at literally everything. We had such a relaxing Sunday walking around the museum and looking at all the beautiful exhibits. Ayla got a bit restless after an hour or so, but I had luckily packed a million snacks in my bag which seemed to keep her occupied. This bag by Fleabags has been such a lifesaver and has quickly become my daily go-to.
I am always on the look out for the perfect bag. For me that is the kind of bag that you can throw everything in (and with a toddler, I do mean EVERYTHING). Now that Ayla is a little bit older I have been forgoing the diaper bag for a nice sized shoulder bag. I'd much rather invest in a bag that will last me long after she is out of diapers. I have some great bags but most of them are a bit too dressy for the park, a quick target run or heading to the library for some playtime. When I found this bag from Fleabags I absolutely fell in love! I’m sure it’s because it was inspired by needing a bag you can throw everything in when shopping at a flea market. Not only is it perfect for everyday life, and big enough to fit everything I need for Ayla, but its made right here in the US! I absolutely love companies that pay fair wages, source things ethically and care about not only creating a beautiful product but also the lives that created that product. Feeling good about the way a product is made makes me so much more willing to purchase a piece.
