Why You Should Check Out The New Amazon Prime Show "The Pack"

With all the craziness going on in the world this past year has anyone else found themselves watching less dramas on TV? I’ll be honest, there is enough drama going on around me this year so I would prefer to unwind at the end of a long day by watching something light hearted (and if it has cute animals, the show gets bonus points). I think most of us have been more thankful than ever for our pets and all those sweet fluffy stress relieving snuggles and play they bring into our lives. I was so excited when I saw that Amazon Prime has a new show out that Wimble and I can enjoy together! It’s called The Pack and it premiers Friday November 20th!
The Pack is a new global unscripted series that showcases the bond between dogs and their human companions. It’s hosted by Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn and her pup Lucy. The premise of the show is that twelve teams of dogs and their humans go on an epic adventure across multiple continents. The teams have to depend on their understanding of one another’s strengths and weaknesses and prove to have the strongest bond in the pack as they face fun challenges that have been designed by accredited veterinarians and certified dog experts. These experts also accompany the group on the journey to make sure it’s a positive experience for everyone. My favorite part of the show is how generous they are! The winners will get a life-changing $750,000 for themselves as well as their selected charity. The team themselves get $500,000 and they get to donate $250,000 to an animal charity of choice. The Pack also donated $250,000 to multiple charities and animal rescue organizations in each country throughout their time filming. I love thinking about all the animals that have been (and will be) helped because of the generosity of this show!
My adventurous side secretly wishes wimble and I could be contestants. For now we will be over here having fun and practicing just in case we ever get our time to shine and head out on a global adventure of our own. The way Wimble can run through a tunnel, you’d think he was a circus dog in a past life! I think he and I would have pretty good odds at winning that prize money ;). Since the reality is that most of us wont actually get to go global with our pups in toe The Pack created an exciting 3 day event so we don’t have to miss out on all the fun.
