Cozy Pieces for Cold Weather

One of my favorite things to do with Ayla is to go to the duck pond. She gets so excited to point at the ducks and Quack. Its getting colder out so sadly I think this may have been one of our last times going.

I am a bit of a baby when it comes to the cold so I am always looking for cozy pieces that add warmth to introduce to my wardrobe. For that reason, I just love a good fur vest! It makes any outfit look put together without a lot of effort AND it adds a ton of warmth. I love the playful colors in this vest from Express (it’s in stores but unfortunately not online). It’s the right amount of fun and cozy without being too over the top. The lace up tee I have on under it is from Express’s One Eleven line which I am slightly obsessed with. Have you guys discovered this line of clothing they carry yet? It is all SO incredibly soft that I seriously just want to live in it.

I am also a believer in having a few pairs of “investment” shoes in your closet. These Ada heels by Chelsea Paris are gorgeous and go with just about everything. I love how versatile these heels are in this color. They can be dressed up or easily paired with a more casual outfit. (They are also on sale right now!)

You can call me crazy but I often carry a purse even when I bring my diaper bag places. I find that I can never find my wallet, keys or phone if I put them into the black hole that is my diaper bag. I need a smaller bag these days so I can manage carrying both and still keep up with Ayla. The bag I am wearing is by Shaffer LA and it is probably, out of all my bags, the one I use the most. It is the perfect size for a wallet, phone and lipgloss. It's also a cross body bag so I don’t have to worry about it falling off when I’m running after Ayla.
